  • Recipe change junior large breed lamb and rice

    28.4.2023 Answers: 1

Hello, I have been feeding my dog on Brit care junior large breed lamb and rice without any problems. Now I have just changed him to the new recipe version and it has given him terrible diarrhoea for two days. What has changed in the recipe to make this happen? Should I continue to feed the new recipe or go back to a bag of the old recipe that I still have? Many thanks, Mark

  • Salmon and Potato recipe changes

    17.3.2023 Answers: 1

Dear Consultants, My name is Milka, I'm living in Budapest, Hungary. I would like to ask about why is Brit changing the recipe of the Salmon and Potato dry food? My dog is a mix of a Rottweiler and a German Sheperd, and he has a very sensitive digestion, we had bad experiences with hypoallergenic food too. After a long time of trying different foods, we found Brit's Salmon and Potato, which was perfect for him. Unfortunately now that some of the ingridients have changed, it doesn't work for him. I'm very sad, and I would like to understand, why was it neccessary to change a recipe which was maybe perfect for a lot of dogs. Many thanks in advance! Best Regards, Milka

  • Brit Care Puppy Lamb & Rice

    19.2.2023 Answers: 1

Hi, I own a 2.5-month-old Vizsla puppy that weighs 8 kg. Currently, I'm feeding him with Brit Care Puppy Lamb & Rice 75 grams per meal (3 times a day), Is 75 grams its enough for this breed? some people say to me that I need to feed him 100-150 grams per meal. Another question is it correct that at 3 months old I need to switch to "Brit Care Junior Large Breed Lamb & Rice"? or I should continue with the puppy version? Thanks, Daniel.

  • Peas

It would be great if peas were removed from the new formulas. Are you planning to completely throw out the old food formulas? Due to the absence of peas, I switched to your food, you are one of the few who did not use it

I know that the treatment will take long but meanwhile i need a type of food that you have for allergy, and skin treatments (with L-carnitine), in order to prevent more damage to the skin during summer. Thank you for your help.

  • Food with more energy needed

    2.11.2022 Answers: 1

Hi, I have a 6 kilos, 18 months Bichon Havanais male that today eats Lamb and Rice for Small breed and really likes it. The problem is that he is too thin, and I would like to know if you can recommend any other food that would give him more calories? It should preferably be the same small pellets size since he does not like to eat bigger pellets. Thanks!

  • Nutritional info about Senior Weight Control cat food

    29.9.2022 Answers: 5

Hi I've been feeding my cats with Orijen (and Acana) for all these years, with a terrible exception for this summer with Farmina Lamb and Blueberries, with high impact on their weight. We have discovered a potential cardiopathy in one of my cats, and the vet says to go for Virbac W1, I don't like the idea... I have bought for the first time Brit Care Senior Weight Control, they seem to like it. I see it has a bit more carnitine than Orijen (50mg vs 33mg) but we fear that's too little everyday for a 70mg daily serve. Taurine amount in your weight control food seems to be... fine (unsure). I'd like to know more about Brit Care Senior Weight Control cat food, to be able to do a fair comparison: 1) Energy density: how many of the kcal/kg comes from proteins? fat? carbs? 2) Out of the proteins, what's the % of protein coming from animals? 3) Where is the meat coming from? sustainable farms with run-free chickens? industrial farms? Which country? Czech Republic or other? 4) How much protein comes from fresh meat (and heart, liver, etc)? 5) Does it contain any sugar? 6) The cardiopathies in cats and dogs are mostly caused by food, in many cases because the daily intake of taurine and especially carnitine is too low. Are you thinking about increasing the L-carnitine amount in your weight control series? 7) Any support for joints? 8) Humidity level? Thank YOU for helping us understand!
