    Hello, peas are very good source of proteins. They are highly distible and also they have high content of lysine (musculature support) and threonine (positive impact on nervous system). Legumes are also source of soluble fibre that positively impact health of GI tract, immunity and brain function. If you consider legumes as factor contributing to DCM, FDA this connection has refuted yet. Best regards Martin Kvas
