General Appearance:

It's bright and loud hunting dog that works reliably on track. In addition, this powerful Hound is friendly with other dogs and with people, it is very intelligent and good-natured, so it could be also a nice companion dog. Permanent housing in an outdoor kennel it is not suitable for its mental side, much better it when it feels in the company of the owner and his family members.

Training/Behaviour:

Certainly there are individual differences in temperament of its foundation, but the most important thing in any case is the owner-trainer´s approach to this dog. Who is able to use methods of education and training, and this owner will respect this breed and individual differences, there you can train a good, calm and gentle companion that also will be hunting with top performance.

The owner who will use harsh methods this person will be useful. Due to dog will worker just because it is afraid of cruel punishment for the slightest "mistake", for example. It does not cover with a command immediately and completely accurately because of fear, it will never make perfect performance in the hunt as that one that works with joy and enthusiasm due to its performance, dog that has a good relationship with owner.

Body:

This is a breed of medium size with well developed muscles, rather "rough" appearance and temperament however mild and friendly. Height at withers, male is from 47 to 53 cm for female is from 45 to 51 cm.

Teeth should be strong, scissor bite is required. It is desirable to complete dentition consisting of 42 teeth. However, it is permissible to missing max two first or second premolars (P1 or P2) and molars 3 (M3) is not taken into account.

Iris is brown. The earlobes are not too big, hanging flat to the cheeks are covered with fine hair. The neck should be strong and not too long.
